The mission for the next
year is fleet building; try to build up some fun events; do something in
the winter; basically reach out and make a community. We also need
to get better lines of communication. Buzzard – I can’t and won’t
do all the work myself, I’ll break down the list of things to do to make
it easier for everyone to pick a small thing to do.
6. New Business
a.
Fleet Dues – lots of discussion; not getting value for $25 but we do have
expenses to the Division (~$190/yr) and a trailer of gear. Also don’
want to nickle and dime people at events. Motion to make individual
dues $15 and family dues $20. Seconded. Motion
passes.
b.
Buzzard Date – July 19/20 in New Bedford because of Lipton Cup
weekend before and HYC Regatta weekend after. Need to send a letter
to the Parks Dept asap; what/when is LTYC’s regatta
